MLS® Laser Therapy at the forefront at VOD, the congress of the Turkish veterinary orthopaedic association (Veteriner Ortopedi Derneği) which took place in Istanbul on 2nd February (Radisson Blu Sisli Hotel). Participants in the event were able not only to analyse the uses and benefits of MLS® at the Dame Group stand, our local partner, but also to view the Mphi Vet Orange device, understanding its ease of use and performance. Moreover, the presence of Adelmo Rossin, DVM, ASAveterinary Product Specialist, allowed professionals who visited the exhibition space to receive helpful indications concerning use of the therapy for specific issues.
“The main questions I was asked – Rossin specifies – concerned the possibility of employing MLS® for pathologies concerning the osteoarticular system and possible wounds in skin areas affected by trauma. These topics were also addressed by means of practical sessions during a training event held in a local physiotherapy clinic the day before. The therapy was in fact applied to two dogs, both suffering from paralysis to the hind limbs, one of which was also treated for paw wounds. The results we obtained positively impressed the specialists”.
