Bombo presents various systemic diseases, including severe renal insufficiency, that limit the use of systemic drug therapy.
For several months he has presented itching and reddening of the skin, most evident in his paws.
Diagnostic tests confirmed the diagnosis of atopic dermatitis. In combination with the topical treatment with chlorhexidine, MLS® Laser Therapy was started with ‘Atopic Dermatitis’ program three times a week for the first week, and thereafter, in steps, twice a week and once a week.
Results
Already after the first applications the affected areas look pinker with a clear reduction in signs of inflammation, the animal is able to walk more comfortably due to the pain reduction.
At the end of three weeks, the treated areas are completely healed without recourse to systemic pharmacological treatment.
