Rocky, treatment of a tail wound dehiscence

Rocky have had 4 sessions of MLS® Laser Therapy every 3-4 days for a wound on the distal part of the tail.

Species: Dog
Breed: crossbreed Malinois
Gender: Male
Age: 6 YO
Name: Rocky

Clinical case: Rocky was seen for a wound on the distal part of the tail. The cause is due to the presence of a sebaceous cyst that Rocky began to bite, causing the lesion.

Therapy: The owner wanted to try a local therapy with topical drugs and occlusive bandage. As Rocky could not stand the bandage, he had surgery to remove the cyst (1 cm. diameter) and the surrounding skin.
Because of the tension on the suture, the wound opens again. To speed the healing, Rocky was subjected to MLS® Laser Therapy.

Rocky has had 4 sessions of MLS® Laser Therapy every 3-4 days using the program "wound".
At the end of MLS® Laser Therapy. The wound is completely healed 18 days after surgery.
