The patented MLS® laser technology confirmed its leading role in Asia with two training events organised by ASAveterinary together with the local distributors: Arachem in Malaysia and Manpharma in the Philippines. Two closely spaced events – in Kuala Lumpur and Manila – attracted over 70 veterinary professionals, both in person and online.
The seminar offered a comprehensive overview of the use of MLS® Laser Therapy in the veterinary field, with a particular focus on neurological and dermatological conditions and its innovative application in the treatment of renal failure.
Beniamino Caruso (ASA Export Area Manager & Educational Program Specialist) opened the session by introducing the scientific basis and the most recent studies on the effectiveness of MLS® technology.
Dr. Ken Anthony Lao shared his neurological clinical cases and, subsequently, the results of his research on the use of laser therapy in supporting patients with renal failure.
Dr. Criselda C. Lao, a dermatology specialist, presented successful clinical cases related to skin diseases. The program also included hands-on sessions with the M-VET and Mphi Vet Orange devices, allowing participants to directly apply the illustrated techniques to dogs and cats.
A broad and motivated participation
In Kuala Lumpur, approximately 30 professionals, including veterinarians and technicians, took part in highly interactive training sessions that also led to new collaborations.
In Manila, 35-40 professionals attended in person and approximately 30 were connected remotely, with great engagement despite the lengthy travel times required by some to attend.
ASAveterinary: training and innovation without borders
The two seminars confirmed the strong interest of Asian professionals in the ASA Therapeutic Solutions, strengthening the international diffusion of MLS® Laser Therapy as an innovative and effective tool in daily veterinary practice.
